Dr. Tejaswini Ananth Kumar is a distinguished social innovator, educationist, and institution builder whose work spans technology, education, sustainability, and societal impact. A former aerospace scientist with the Aeronautical Development Agency, she contributed to India’s LCA–Tejas programme, bringing the rigour of engineering and systems thinking to her wider work. She has held leadership roles across premier institutions, including Chairperson of the Board of Governors of IIEST Shibpur and Board Member of IIT Roorkee, and has also served in leadership at NIT Kurukshetra. Through initiatives such as Green Sunday and 40 Plate Banks, she has championed sustainable, community-led models that place people, purpose, and collective action at the centre. Her work brings together leadership, technology, design, and social responsibility, with a deep belief in creating human-centred solutions that deliver meaningful impact at scale.
