**Dr. Arindam Das** is an academic and education leader with extensive experience across design, fashion, and higher education. He currently serves as Director at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru. Previously, Dr. Das served as Campus Director across multiple NIFT campuses, including Delhi, Gandhinagar, Bhopal, and Shillong, overseeing academics, administration, finance, personnel, and institutional development. He has also served as Director of Pearl Academy of Fashion, Jaipur, where he led academic and institutional initiatives and headed the Business & Technology department. An alumnus of NIFT’s first Apparel Merchandising & Marketing cohort, Dr. Das holds a Master’s in Fashion Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from Nottingham Trent University, UK. His expertise spans curriculum development, assessment systems, academic quality, counselling, research, marketing, and retail merchandising. Throughout his career, he has contributed to international academic collaborations, curriculum development, industry workshops, research, and conferences across India and internationally. Outside academia, he enjoys music, plays the Spanish guitar, and is an avid reader and traveller.
